Kelly “PicKel” Sandoval Brown has been a lifelong lover of brine-y foods. After years of managing marketing and communications at fast-paced start-ups, she faced brutal layoffs. Deciding her stable career was not, in fact, so stable, she set out to create something she could truly own. That’s where Brine Time came about. She took her love of pickled things and globally inspired flavors, mixed in her experience ‘wearing many hats’ thanks to her start-up career and topped it off with an intrinsic desire to put good things into the world. The result was a fermented foods company with craveable, probiotic products — boasting a host of nutritional benefits — and unlike anything you find in stores.
